GUARDIANSHIP & HOMESTAY SERVICES

Trusted Guardianship & Homestay Support for International Students in Canterbury

At Home From Home Canterbury, we understand that choosing a guardian is about far more than meeting a school requirement.

Parents want reassurance that their child has a trusted local adult available should they need support, guidance or emergency assistance whilst studying away from home.

Founded by Becky Stone, Home From Home Canterbury offers a warm, personal and family-centred approach to guardianship and homestay accommodation, providing both peace of mind for parents and a genuine home-from-home experience for students.

Why Families Choose Home from Home Canterbury

  • Home From Home Canterbury is built around genuine relationships, personal care and trusted local support.
  • Students are not simply assigned a guardian. They have a named local adult who takes the time to get to know them, checks how they are settling in, and provides parents with reassurance that someone nearby genuinely cares about their wellbeing.
  • For many families, this personal connection offers a level of comfort and trust that larger guardianship organisations are unable to provide.
  • At Home From Home Canterbury, every student is treated as an individual and welcomed as part of the family.
